A well-known expert in the field of human rights, Pat's work has taken him from Chile to Mexico to Nigeria, educating foreign military officers, meeting with human rights workers and NGO representatives, and creating the first-ever human rights curriculum for a Regional Academic Center of the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
A highly sought lecturer for the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Studies at the National Defense University, Pat frequently speaks, publishes, and leads workshops and conferences throughout the U.S. and Latin America on human rights, rule of law, and conflict resolution.
