Coordinate article submissions, peer reviews, editing, and the production of a half-dozen publications and periodic reports. Responsible for vetting all prospective Perry Center publications, ensuring that they pass through a peer review or editorial review process before acceptance for publication; guide the formation of each issue of the Security and Defense Studies Review (SDSR), Occasional Papers, Regional Insights, Perspectivas, and other special publications; draft front-matter for each issue; oversees and manages the double-blind peer review process; responsible for maintaining the SDSR Editorial Board; coordinate submissions and selection for the annual Perry Paper contest.  

·       School Board President, River Farm Cooperative school                             January to June 2020

Senior Board member of the River Farm Cooperative school, a non-profit private school in Alexandria, Virginia. Oversees new employee hiring process, student admissions, school bylaws, curriculum development, school budget and expenditures, assessment exams, public relations, strategic long term planning, developing school policies, marketing, and fundraising among other duties.

Serve as senior faculty advisor for the Perry Center research assistants and interns, providing career and academic advice for over 100 undergraduate and graduate students.
